Global Team Lead Breeding

As Global Team Lead you lead a global team of breeders, focused on product leadership by means of research and processing. Additional objectives are efficiently breeding and increasing the probability of breeding succes. You are based in the Netherlands, but you are open to travel.
You have the following responsibilities:
- You provide leadership to a globally operating breeding team, spread over several locations in the world;
- You translate the breeding strategies into product-oriented plans, focused on achieving business objectives and you report on progress;
- You strengthen the knowledge of the breeding team and expand the intellectual property position of the organization;
- You maintain and build internal and external networks to support business goals.

 

- You have a PhD in Genetics or in Plant Breeding;
- You have proven leadership skills;
- You have a strong future vision and you are goal oriented;
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- You have excellent command of the English language;
- You are willing to travel globally.
